Todd MacIntyre is from Sydney. He started cooking at 19 and has been a chef since 1993, owning and operating two successful businesses in his hometown. “I’ve had great experiences in my career as a chef,” says Todd. He was one of ten Canadians selected to work at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, was a Venue Manager for the 2003 Rolling Stones Concert for SARS and served as Executive Chef for the Wayne Gretzky Invitational Golf Tournament. He was also Venue Manager for the 1999 Halifax Air Show, which hosted 110,000 people. Todd has cooked for many celebrities including Rita MacNeil, Blue Rodeo, Charlton Heston, Alice Cooper, and the President of Ireland. He was personal Chef for Brian and Mila Mulroney for four days, and for many sports stars including Wayne Gretzky, Joe Sakic, Guy Lefluer, Steve Shut, Scott Hamilton, Mike Weir, and Brett Hull. Todd has also been a key operational player in the opening of several properties including Sheraton Inn Fredericton and the Sheraton Casino Sydney. He is very proud to be introducing Cape Bretoners and visitors from around the world to the exquisite flavours of Mescalero’s and the MTCC catering team. |
